Odiare Elon Musk è un business. Oggi su Repubblica ci sono quasi due pagine dedicate a raccontare il “Muskismo”. Peccato che la premessa di questo libro recensito sia falsa: “le aziende di Musk vivono grazie ai sussidi pubblici”. Falso: per SpaceX solo un’esigua minoranza del fatturato proviene da appalti pubblici vinti. Si cita Tesla, l’unica casa automobilistica statunitense che, solo nella crisi più nera recente dell’economia, ha chiesto un prestito e lo ha restituito con gli interessi in tempi record. E poi su Avvenire, un altro libro, altre follie: Elon Musk sarebbe “nemico della democrazia”. Da notare che su Avvenire gli attacchi a Musk sono sempre più frequenti. Il quotidiano dei vescovi italiani è purtroppo in mala fede oppure talmente ignorante da non studiare prima di scrivere. In entrambi i casi è segno dei tempi. Non c’è da sorprendersi se su Avvenire ci siano più attacchi a Elon Musk che all’estremismo islamico. Si sono dimenticati chi dovrebbero rappresentare già da un po’

🚨 The EU Commission posted: “Smarter cars mean safer roads.” Starting July 7, all new EU cars must have advanced emergency braking for pedestrians/cyclists, driver distraction warnings, etc.
Yet after 18+ months of rigorous testing, Tesla FSD (Supervised), already approved in the Netherlands with real-world data showing it 3.5x safer than manual driving there (0 highway crashes in 16M+ km), is still not fully approved EU-wide.
5 countries have it via mutual recognition. The big ones are dragging their feet.
If you truly want safer roads, approve proven AI that reduces human error instead of just mandating yesterday’s tech. Bureaucracy shouldn’t cost lives.
What’s the holdup, @EU_Commission?
