@frozen_helm *plus: Since the top/upper half of the image seems to be your focal point, more contrast, no matter it is by colors or shapes or anything else, would be better I suppose.
@frozen_helm I think the contrast in the first one looks more interesting because of the silhouette of the tree, but I would stick to the redish version for the rocks only. So, in short, yellowish/more contrast at the top (sky) and redish/less contrast at the bottom (boulders)
@tonroosendaal Though this is a really old tweet, I found out another (also a bit old, but probably even better) derived technique called Elastic Implicit Skinning). I would love to see these kind of deformations working in Blender.

@andrewpprice Using the tips from https://t.co/bdfckAIYHE may support your decision. I tried to analyze it, and I thought something like the attachment. According to this, I think adding decorations improves variety of small shapes and clumping mostly.
