@GeirJordet It was also noticeable how much time they spent between the whistle and taking the penalty. I'm sure this was spoken about in Dear England and it appears to create calm for the taker and add anxiety for the keeper.
@BBCNews where is your coverage of today's #RestoreNatureNow? Nothing on your website and nothing in your headlines, unlike other broadcasters. Shameful and embarrassing it's not front and centre today.
@Igor_N_ @jessphillips Or, perhaps stop thinking that everything has to be London centric. Invest properly in other parts of the UK and improve the infrastructure.
@SophyRidgeSky Or on the other hand...you and all other media outlets could just tell it like it is. A made up lie by the Tories once again. Nothing else to say
@0Calamity If true, well done. The news today suggests the impact of photo id is negligible because people generally turn up with their id...unless of course your name is @BorisJohnson . This reporting feels biased because if you didn't have id you wouldn't go. What is the real impact?
@jimmy_L_UFC I think Georgie's surgery has affected him and without his link up play with Summerville it all looks laboured, which makes him frustrated.
@JohnJCrace Funniest interview I've heard in a while. She came on all guns blazing against Starmer. Then Evan Davis quickly explained to her that the Tories flipflop just as mucg and by the end I almost felt sorry for her lack of knowledge.
@lewis_goodall I'd be ok with this, if the rail companies had to increase passenger capacity by the same amount each time. We would then have a comfortable service worth paying for.
@guardian I suspect if you don't know what a prime number is or need an explanation for #3 you're probably not best placed to answer the question. Why bother?
@DeborahMeaden He's also spending millions on trying to improve Rwanda's immigration system, rather than investing that time and money in our own systems...which could actually resolve the problem. But eh, it's easier to blame everyone else isn't it!
@pj_clinch @RichardJMurphy Honest question? If its about capacity, would the cost of increased rolling stock be more or less expensive. I just don't understand why we can run 8/9 crosscountry carriage trains during COVID, but not do the same with an increased ( back to pre-covid ) frequency.
@MirrorPolitics Why bother @GillianKeegan? What must students think if they go through school being told education is important and then the Minister simply dismisses the importance cause she knows the results reflect her government's poor handling of the process, not a pupil's ability.
@FabrizioRomano Just don't see why all the fuss, given he's only wanting to go to Everton. Doubt they'll suddenly morph into top half Premier League side. With his talent why not take the piss in the Championship for a year then move somewhere better next. Needs a better agent/adviser.
@RogersHistory And yet the impact it has on those teachers is disproportionate. Suggests failure: No personal support, no recognition of why this might be, no recognition of why they do well under the circumstances. Ofsted is too simplistic and fails everyone.
@BethRigby If his argument now is this was a work do, then surely it's an HSE question. This hasn't been said enough by any media. The fact being the HSE would have had to take action. Just as they did with other employers at the time.
@mrjamesob Well said James. Something is wrong when the loudest voices calling out unfairness in society are sportstars. Where is the balanced media or political opposition? Since Trump's playbook or Gove/Cummings 'don't trust an expert' gibes any reasoned argument has gone
@WestminsterWAG@GaryLineker When @GaryLineker tweets I easily understand that's his personal view....not the BBC's When he's sat in front of a BBC camera I easily understand he's working on behalf of the BBC...and saying things on behalf of the BBC. It's not complicated.
