LIMB FLARE: Sunspot region AR3679 which is on the SW limb just produced an M1.4 flare. Limb flares are important to study as they give us some idea of the vertical structure of flares often not available from flares on the solar disk. For example, this one clearly produces a CME.

@GrimArtGroup Sheffield looking over the Midland station to the Park Hill flats from the edge now occupied by Hallam university. Street now gone. The tawny shop window belonged to chiropodist who used to display the shards of hard skin he had removed. Fascinating for a schoolgirl!
