Japan's combination of Shinto, Zen, & Confucianism produced something very specific: the complete sacralizing of the ordinary. There is no split between spiritual life & material life. Making a sword perfectly IS spiritual life. Sweeping a floor with full attention IS meditation.
@Vero_Dei Shinto developed within Japanese Buddhism and Chan was imported well after the esoteric schools that developed the viewpoint you're describing

@F1BigData They need to have a straight leading up to these le epic banked corners to make them be anything, they always just clunkily pop onto them. Give it a little bit of lead up and install a SAFER barrier and make a type of corner that doesn't exist yet!
