How is Kerkez so bad at reading the game and at crossing? The reason we are more focused on Frimpong is because Kerkez has a way of just being busy on the pitch. Usually after getting beaten for a goal, he makes some strong challenges here and there and wins the ball and it glosses over a very mediocre performance. He has never put in a decent cross that beats the first man

We thing we fail to do every season is we never have enough depth in any position. We always have to lose one to gain another. This is why Man City have been so successful. Before something becomes a problem they have a solution. And when that solution has shown itself to be the right solution, only then do they let go of what they have. Now we are talking about selling Macca to buy Camara. What if he comes in and doesn't do well? Look at Man city's midfield overhaul for instance. Nobody was let go until they were sure of 2 replacements so if one didn't work atleast the other would work. Do we have something against having proper squad depth? Look how many players City sold. They bought expensive but sold even more expensive. They are not trying to recycle the likes of Endo or Chiesa whom no one is interested in. Look at our bench, except for the kids, no one would pay anything meaningful for any of them because they don't have the quality. Let us for once have an abundance of riches in every position. This sell to buy system has to end. We make more money than City so let's not even talk about PSR and other stuff. C'mon look at Arsenal too. How many DMs do they have, how many CBs do they have. That's the kind of competition that drives players to be better and also helps in times of injuries. When would we ever have quality players who would make other team's starting lineups on the bench. Let's have depth and if players complain about game time and don't want to stay, we sell them and buy someone of similar quality who would be happy to stay. This sell to buy system is why we can't seem to have any sustained dominance
