Grateful to Councilwoman and Harris County Judge nominee, Ms. Letitia Plummer for warmly hosting us, in the true spirit of partnership with the First Diaspora (descendants of enslaved Black People), who planted the roots of Pan-Africanism.

Over a shared meal with friends, we reflected on the legislature’s vital role in holding government to account. Our discussions on international cooperation further reinforced my conviction that Pan-Africanism will guide my foreign policy.

In Kenya, citizens demand absolute accountability from all leaders. I firmly believe justice must not only be done—it must be seen to be done.

I am thrilled of the possible partnerships with Harris County, Texas ranging from healthcare, innovation to education.

I look forward to pursuing these partnerships further in the coming months.
