Latanya Alberto😮💨
One of the my favorite albums this decade 🤝
It’s like Cleo Sol meets Alicia Keys, but also if you like Ravyn Lenae and maybe Foushee I think you’d love this album!
@ElsienotElisee@nosaputyouon y’all should listen (if you haven’t)

If there’s 1 new artist you listen to today, listen to Latanya Alberto.
Cleo Sol meets Solange is the best way I can put it.
You can trust me with recommendations 🤝
Ausar Stephens probably has the best breakdown videos of music I’ve ever seen. Premium content, the songwriting and visuals are genuinely unbelievable.
Been watching him for a while and you should too if you like in depth song reviews 🤝
Music is funny man, sometimes it’s so blatantly obvious an artist is going to make it. Joke of an artist.
Generational talent + charisma
That R&B Money podcast episode with him was amazing insight
The album is flawless but these 2 😮💨. Special is a classic (need a Miguel cover)
Imagine being able to rap this well. This is some of the best we’ll ever hear a rapper get.
Also The Villest will be a deep cut in 10 years that many forget about but this is one of his best songs. That 2nd verse is unbelievable. Also feels very Rakim!
J. Cole reflects on hearing Kendrick Lamar’s verse on Future & Metro Boomin’s “Like That” for the very first time and says Kendrick Lamar was featured on 2 tracks on the original version of The Fall Off:
“My first reaction was, ‘That sh*t is hard.’ It was undeniable. The beat was crazy, the song was fire, and he really went off this is tough”
“My second reaction was basically, ‘Not now bruh... this is inconvenient for me.’”
"Right at that time, I had just got off tour with Drake. We did that. And I had Might Delete Later in the chamber and then I had The Fall Off finished. I probably had to tweak a couple mixes but I had this album finished It's like, yo, he was on two joints."
Excited to announce The Perfect Playlist, a new series in partnership with @Lucid_Monday where I sit down with a producer to curate 10 of the most iconic songs in their catalog, 5 picks each.
Episode 1 is out now on YouTube featuring the talented @thisizyourgoat. Link in bio 🎬
