I'm joining OpenAI next week!🥹 The job search turned out to be really challenging but also super rewarding, so I wrote a small blog to share what I learned along the way and hopefully make the process a little less mysterious for the next person. https://t.co/6FigSBdenD
Do you know what really worries me the most? It is that twenty years from now, the generation who is going to lead countries and companies are going to be those who interact with AI front and center.
I do not know what kind of world we're going to live in or what collective conscience AI is going to have on us but I do think that the need to think more critically is more important than ever.
Whether you think AI is good or not, it's going to be an integral part of our future. It is just like rice or potatoes on the table, something that you use but you don't think about.
Think about the judge who is going to determine whether someone gets a sentence or not, relying on AI to give them advice. Think of the patient who is suffering from a life-threatening disease, whose life or death is determined by a model.
Ifyou think that people who fall victim to falsehoods and triggering content is back in the era of social media and recommendations and FYP, think about the day that someone uses a code from ChatGPT to decide whether they need a divorce or not.
