At my son's 10u baseball game. The opposing pitcher has thrown 40% breaking pitches. What are we doing?? Parents/coaches are failing that kid. Hope that $5 ring is worth his arm.
@DrBhrettMcCabe I believe they want success so much that their worth as a pitcher is tied to the results. Therefore i think it's both. They believe not succeeding is letting their teammates down so they literally chase perfection to the point that its limiting their ability to just pitch/compete
@DrBhrettMcCabe I've got a pitcher who wants to do well/be perfect so bad they can't perform. They aren't scared, they just literally want it too much that and strive for perfection too much that they simply can't relax and play. Any suggestions?
*BASEBALL COACHES*
With the help from our infield coach @b_szink12 I have created a Google Drive with 300+ videos dedicated to infield, outfield and team defense. If you have interest in something like this, hit the RT and I will reach out on how to access it. Preview below:
Thank you for your hard work. Thank you for allowing me to coach you. Thank you for being someone your mother and I can be proud of to represent our family. Thank you for not being afraid to share your faith and live it out. We love you and good luck at the next level!
This is what great coaching looks like. This is years of investment by both player AND coach, working together for the good of the team and player. Both of these two sacrificed for each other, and both are forever grateful to each other for it. #BeTransformationalNotTransactional
Coaching this team continues to be a great experience for me and my coaching career, and you found a way to make it an even better experience. You lead the group on and off the diamond and will be sorely missed.
So AI is taking my orders in the drive thru, and I'm bagging my own groceries. Why are all my groceries and fast food more expensive than when you paid people to do those jobs???
Call me old school, but if you have got runners at 3b, get your butt off your knee and block the ball like a major league catcher. You are trying to frame strikes on your knees and you gave up 2 runs because you can't block as well as a 14yr old.
Extremely proud of you Sid!! This is another step in your softball journey, not the destination. The hard work that you have done your entire life continues. Can't wait to see what you can accomplish.
Thanks to @GatorsHazelwood for the chance to play this past weekend at the Scenic City Showcase. Great way to go into the offseason.
