Honoured to witness the commencement of the beautification work at the premises of Shree Ram Mandir.

The beautification of the Shree Ram Mandir premises on Abade Faria Road, bordering the Fatorda constituency, has officially begun. The surroundings of this temple, built and maintained by the Daivadnya Brahmin Samaj, will be refurbished and enhanced, with the work scheduled for completion before Ganesh Chaturthi this year.

This initiative is dedicated to preserving our faith and celebrating our rich cultural heritage. May Lord Ram shower His divine blessings upon us and guide every Goemkar towards peace, unity, and prosperity.

This Old Age Home, located at Fatorda, was initially renovated by us as part of a CSR initiative when I was a Minister. How it came to be referred to as a Margao facility remains unclear. The 5 Star facility was inaugurated yesterday by the Government without me being invited or even informed.

As such I think We should all visit the Old Age Home at 10:00 AM today to review the situation. Let’s meet there and see if all is well for our senior citizens….

Spoke at the inauguration of the 10 TPD gasification plant at Sonsoddo, Fatorda. This was meant to be a 15 TPD biomethanation project as per the HC order (13/03/2024). MMC still sends wet waste to Kakoda—no claim to “Swayampoorna” holds. Credit goes to aware citizens & judiciary, not politicians. Also raised the insult to Goemcho Saib; demanded arrest of Gautam Khattar and sacking of Minister Mauvin Godinho for defending him.

If the BJP government truly respects the people of Goa, then @MauvinGodinho must be dropped from the Cabinet immediately. Mauvin’s defence of Kattar becomes the Cabinet’s official stand. Before the CM’s birthday, either Kattar must be arrested or Mauvin must be sacked. If neither happens, it will be clear that this government stands with Kattar, not Goa.

Today, along with @INCGoa President @amitspatkar , Goa Foundation Director Claude Alvares , John Coutinho & others approached the South Collector in Margao to lodge a formal complaint on the illegal double-tracking work in Velsao.

Work on private land without proper acquisition is a direct assault on citizens’ rights in Goa. Residents are being denied access to their own homes while authorities look the other way. Stop this immediately. No work should continue until land ownership is clear and all legal procedures are followed.

Goa cannot be run by bulldozing people’s rights.

I stand with the residents of Dovondem against the proposed mega housing project. Development cannot come at the cost of our sausage makers, carpenters, cattle rearers, and traditional livelihoods.

Dovondem’s traditions are not for sale. This project will not be allowed. The Government must reverse any permissions granted, and the promoters must remove the hoardings immediately.

The Election Commission has enforced the Model Code of Conduct in Ponda and the entire South Goa district.

Vijai flagged this today. He cited the EC letter to the Chief Secretary. He asked: Does discussing grants and LAQs with financial impact violate the MCC?

The government is silent. The Chair must rule.

We cannot let financial decisions slip through when the code of conduct is meant to ensure a level playing field.

Transparency is not optional. It is the law.

This is not a recycling scheme. This is a compliance nightmare and a financial burden designed to benefit a monopoly. It is a failed Kedarnath project, which BJP is bringing to Goa.

They have handed the contract to a Hyderabad software company with ZERO waste management experience, who will eventually harvest your data.

Tourists will be charged over MRP. Health hazards will be created. And Legal chaos.

All opposition parties are united against the DRS scam.
