Remote Trade Operations Associate — Crypto / Digital Assets

Good morning & happy Tuesday! 👋

We’re hiring a Trade Operations professional to join a fast-moving team working at the intersection of institutional finance and digital assets.

⚡ Role: Crypto Trade Operations
🌎 Location: New York Office or Remote Optional
💰 Compensation: $250,000+ bonus + equity

What you'd actually be doing:
🔹 Managing daily trade and settlement requests across institutional counterparties
🔹 Working closely with Trading, Product, Customer Success, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and Accounting
🔹 Managing trade, transfer, and inventory reconciliation across internal and external systems
🔹 Monitoring daily inventory needs for settlement and lending/borrowing activity
🔹 Investigating reconciliation breaks and working with teams to resolve them
🔹 Improving operational processes, controls, and reconciliation workflows
🔹 Supporting the full lifecycle of institutional crypto trading

What I need to see on your background:
✅ 3–5 years in a trading firm, hedge fund, or investment bank
✅ Experience with Derivatives, Spot, and/or Credit
✅ Bachelor’s degree or higher
✅ Strong organization and self-management skills
✅ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
✅ Interest in becoming an expert in digital assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum

Happy Monday! So happy to share last weeks candidate win 🥳

I originally met this candidate back in 2023 - right around the time the job market started to slow down, and for a while I just didn't have anything that would be the right fit for her.

Over the years there were a few opportunities here and there that she interviewed for, but for one reason or another, they didn't work out. A client hired someone on their own, another closed the role - you name it, but we stayed in touch & I always kept her in mind.

Fast forward to this year - the market finally started picking back up and we started seeing more opportunities that actually made sense for her - and just this week she landed the perfect role!

She just accepted an offer with a great company, in an industry she loves, making $10K more than she was previously, and she starts next month 🎉

I think this is such a good example of why I always tell candidates to stay in touch with recruiters they trust. Sometimes, I meet someone on Friday and they're accepting an offer by the following Wednesday. Other times, I meet a great candidate and it takes months (or in this case, years 😂) for the right opportunity to come along.

I'd rather wait and call you when I have something that actually makes sense than send you every job that crosses my desk just to send it.

The right fit is the right fit.

It may not happen immediately, but this is exactly why you stay patient, keep the relationship and trust the process.
