The Senate State and Local Government Committee unanimously passed HB 587, after testimony from @BryannaCarroll & the bill's sponsor, @rep_webber. The KLC initiative clarifies that the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority (KPPA) auditor reports to the KPPA Board.

The House Local Gov Cmte passed SB 190 after testimony from sponsor @RobbyMillsforKY and @BryannaCarroll. The KLC initiative tweaks statutes relating to elected city legislative bodies. It now moves to the House for consideration. #kyga23
The Sen. State & Local Gov Cmte unanimously passed HB 506 after testimony from @WalkerThomas_KY, @BryannaCarroll, @KentuckyChiefs Exec Dir Shawn Butler, &. @KPFF_IAFF@semperbrian. The KLC initiative creates post-retirement options for the state's retirement systems & CERS.
