California: Police should stop crime in major cities and deal with rampant fraud and mass illegal immigration issues.
California Police: Best they can do is shoot an excited doodle and kill it in from of his family because while they were celebrating the Knicks winning the NBA Finals.
We have a societal problem on both sides. Police too often resort to issues with lethality instead of deescalation and way too many people who think they are the main character and can do whatever they want regardless of the law. Both require consequences to be enforced.
The police involved in the shooting needs to be fired.
👮♂️LAPD killed this lady's dog on a noise complaint call. The dog's name was Jameson, a golden doodle.
The dog was no threat, but he barked at strangers.
The family and the dog was celebrating the New York Knicks victory. A neighbor called in a noise complaint and the LAPD showed up and shot the dog when it barked at the officers.
Police treat killing dogs like it's routine business and no big deal. That needs to change, it needs to become a big deal. I think every time an officer shoots a dog it should be investigated and scrutinized just like when a person is shot.
It seems police escalate to lethal force FIRST when dealing with a dog they perceive as aggressive. It seems they never use pepper spray first, just straight to deadly force. That needs to change.
This is not okay.
My favorite thing right now with the World Cup is all the Europeans posting on @X who are here for the games and are astonished at this amazing and beautiful country. If you turn off @CNN you’ll be amazed at how awesome the @america is.
Give it a rest old man. You've been screaming the same thing for 40 years and you have been wrong on everything your entire political life. This country would be better off without your failed divisive class warfare rhetoric you spew. Let's not forget that you actually dinned with Soviet oligarchs and praised them when you were younger.
There was never a $12 billion hole in the budget. That fairy tale was cooked up to justify reckless spending and political theater.
I left the incoming administration with $8 billion in reserves, not a financial apocalypse.
Albany election-year bailouts are not a long-term economic strategy. The free money dries up after Election Day, but the bloated free” programs stay forever.
And here’s the part the socialists in City Hall never want to admit: the millionaires and billionaires they love demonizing already pay roughly 40% of NYC’s taxes. Keep demonizing the people creating jobs, investing in this city, and carrying the tax base, and eventually they’ll stop investing here altogether.
Facts are stubborn things. Even when some politicians aren’t.
Dave: “Hello, caller, you are on the air.”
Caller: “I don’t think billionaires create value.”
Dave: “Okay. What do you mean by that?”
Caller: “Nobody can earn a billion dollars ethically.”
Dave: “Alright. What do you do for a living?”
Caller: “Well, before this, I was a bartender.”
Dave: “Nothing wrong with bartending. Honest work.”
Caller: “Right.”
Dave: “And now?”
Caller: “I work in government.”
Dave: “Okay. So let me get this straight. You're saying Elon Musk, who helped build PayPal, Tesla, SpaceX, and Starlink, has made innovations like online payments, electric cars, rockets, and satellite internet possible, didn't earn his way to being a billionaire?"
Caller: “None of that justifies being a billionaire.”
Dave: “Well, sure sounds like value got created somewhere along the line.”
Caller: “I disagree.”
Dave: “What exactly did you build?”
Caller: “I advocate for economic justice.”
Dave: “No ma’am, I mean actual products.”
Caller: “…”
Dave: “You’re telling me the guy catching rockets mid-air created less value than a person who used to serve mojitos and now votes on spending his tax dollars?”
Caller: “That’s unfair.”
Dave: “What’s unfair is pretending markets are imaginary while cashing a government paycheck funded by the businesses you claim don’t create value.”
Caller: “I’m actually a congresswoman.”
Dave: “Oh Lord. Of course!"
Missing things is difficult and easy at the same time. I miss the excitement of being a kid and waking up on a Saturday morning ready to grab a bowl of cereal and watch cartoons however I know I out grew that. I miss having conversations with my grandparents and going on “tea parties” with them but sadly and unfortunately life comes for us all. I miss all the furry ones that have graced my life but I know I gave them all the love I had for them. I think, however, the thing that is hardest to miss are those that come into our lives and where laughter once was it’s now silence and you feel there are unfinished memories to be had
When I was a kid I thought I was #Superman and could fly. My dream was to be in the skies flying. Bringing old photos to life with @grok allows us to see our childhood dreams come to life. Thank you @elonmusk
@RealDeanCain I respect his composing however, he, like the vast majority in the Hollywood community, lives in an echo chamber of thought or lack there of. TDS is real and that's all the left has, hate and intolerance.
@nickshirleyy@GuntherEagleman While you’re at it come to Alabama and help expose the state’s corruption. Just because it’s GOP held doesn’t mean its not corrupt.
