Our teachers are having a very productive summer. Ms. Harris has been at Mount Vernon learning about Martha Washington and women of colonial America this week at George Washington Teacher Institute.
Ida B. Wells-Barnett made an incredible impact on advancing civil rights in America. Wells-Barnett devoted her life to anti-lynching crusades through journalism, boycotts, and legal channels. She also fought for woman suffrage. #19thAt100#BecauseOfHerStory

Our Global Kids, Jkaela and Abdullah are facilitating a workshop (and doing a wonderful job!) at the @globalkids conference today. @WCBryantHSLIC @teacherleaderny @NDwarka1
Thank you, Mr. Donato for opening up your classroom. Our students enjoyed meeting with our student visitors from Denmark and getting a better understanding of what it’s like to be a teenager in another country and sharing ideas. 🇩🇰 @WCBryantHSLIC@NDwarka1
Thank you @kennethcdavis! Our students loved your presentation and the Q & A session after. These scholars just had to stay behind to ask some more questions. #AmericanHistory@NDwarka1@WCBryantHSLIC@DOEChancellor
