Hey @Delta are you just going to ignore this or is it just your standard policy to separate parents from their 5 year olds? Thought paying a premium for delta one would at least be worth something. @AmericanAir definitely would’ve taken care of us.

@Delta another crappy experience. Flying JFK to HNL in delta one and our 5yr old was seated BY HIMSELF in a different row on the other side of the plane. We were assured we’d be seated together and the attendant just rolled his eyes at us and said nothing could be done. Terrible!

@Delta I’m flying comf+ LIS to JFK. Boarded, put bags under the seat in front and the floor is a SWAMP. My wife’s gucci handbag is now stained and ruined and the crews only solution was piling blankets + rags leaving us wet and cramped. Unacceptable. This needs to be made right.

@Delta As an additional aside - this is the second time this year we have been let down by delta from LIS-JFK. In October Delta canceled our flight home to JFK with 24 hours notice and gave no explanation and only an option to get another flight a day or two later.

@Delta No we’re still in the air and stowed it elsewhere when we realized that we had been seated in a swamp. It’s typical leather discoloration on the base and i can send pics when we land and are back home.

@Delta The previous agent was able to offer 10k miles for each of us. I think 50k miles total would be appropriate given my platnium stays and the issues with our seats. This is roughly 2/3 of the price we paid. Please advise.

@Delta I have filed complaints in the past on https://t.co/RWkXIVUs8r and have been told that delta is not responsible for damaged baggage. Please see the email below.

Most immediately I would like my miles back for this leg of the flight. Nobody should have to fly in a wet seat.

@Delta It is in regard to the gucci bag that was stained from the soaking wet aircraft and a mileage refund for the cost of this leg of our trip as we have been seated in a swamp.

@Delta Are we going to work this out or not? My patience is running thin, our floor is still wet, our bag is still stained, our experience has been crap and I’m a platnium member on my way to diamond. I thought @Delta took care of its folks with status. So frustrating. #delta

@Delta Still waiting to be connected. The last time i spoke with them it took 60 days to reply to an easy issue and they simply said no.

How about you give us your offer of 10k - or better yet 15k - miles EACH as a start and then let me & customer service to try to work out the rest?

You live and learn. What I’ve learned is that:

1. Delta is garbage
2.Their customer service was designed by M.C. Escher
3. 4 of 5 delta flights will have significant issues
4. They’ll blame you
5. I miss @AmericanAir😭

@Delta So to sum up… You’ve just wasted an hour of my life, resolved nothing, and brought us to exactly where i said we would be. I want this done. Meet me in the middle at 50k miles total and I’ll submit a claim for the bag and we’ll both be half happy. Do something right @delta

@dexstadubs @Delta Close! 10k miles and sent us back to the customer complaint dept to submit a claim for our ruined gucci bag. They just doubled their normal BS stock offer. @delta has never taken responsibility for anything of ours they’ve broken. Gotta love the family law firm tho. #lawyerup

@Delta Unfortunately that’s not even close. This leg of the trip was 76,500 miles. We will accept that. Additionally - delta has told us that they take no responsibility for damages to bags on their flights and we will at the very least need a voucher of equivalent value.

@Delta To be clear - to be satisfied I’ll need to be compensated for my bag that was ruined ($1650) and refunded for the miles spent on this leg of the flight for my wife and I. It’s cut and dry. Also…. If the liquid on the ground turns out to be something other than water or toxic
