Congrats to Bryce Bishop on committing to play basketball in college!
Bryce was arguably the best shooter in Section 3 this season and helped a deep Chittenango squad to their first sectional title in 45 years.
He’ll be staying close by in Madison County as a Mustang!🏀🐎
@CNYHoopTalk315@315buckets Clancy is underrated. From what I understand, he is beloved there at Chittenango. Clancy doesn’t get the love that he should get probably because he wasn’t won a championship. All the great coaches we talk about have won sectional championship(s) and some have even won states
Final: Chittenango 76, Central Valley 69
The Bears get back to their 3rd title game in five seasons and had to do it late after a good fight from CVA.
Alex Moesch had 27 points while his brother Ryan had 21. They’ll face UAS next Sunday in what should be a good one.
Congratulations to Junior Alex Moesch for becoming the 5th Chittenango Bear in school history to join the 1,000-point club.
He spent two seasons at Cazenovia where he racked up most of his points, but he is now playing at Chittenango with his brother Ryan ranked No. 7 in state!
Final: No. 9 Chittenango 95, Phoenix 53
The Bears provide a statement road win against previously 15-3 Phoenix. Chitt scored 90 for the third time this season as Alex Moesch went for 31 points.
Chitt is now 18-1 and can lock up the No. 1 seed in B with a win at Oneida Tuesday.
Boys Final: Chittenango 86, Oneida 45
Bryce Bishop was on fire tonight with 24 points off eight three-pointers. Seven of them came in the first 10 minutes of the game!
Ryan and Alex Moesch had 20 and 18 respectively as Chitt moves to 12-1 with another state-ranked test Saturday.
Halftime: Chittenango 55, Oneida 27
Oneida holds the Bears to one point in the last four minutes of the quarter but Chittenango is putting on a clinic. Bishop has 7 threes and the team has 13!
