In 2020, Ryan Day was outed saying “The Big Ten better have a mercy rule, because we’re going to hang ‘100’ on them (Michigan).”

This comment was due to Jim Harbaugh allegedly ‘ratting’ out Coach Day on a Big Ten Conference call.

Fast Forward to nearly 4 years later, Ryan Day is 74% of the way to fulfilling his promise that he made to the team.

Ohio State needs just 26 points against Michigan in November of 2024 to achieve the ‘100’ mark set out by Ryan Day 4 years ago.

Ohio State has averaged 24.6 PPG against Michigan since that statement, so he would have to beat the law of averages to finish that promise in 4 years instead of 5.

An opportunity to do it in the Horseshoe this upcoming season, at that.
