BRITAIN OR ISRAEL, MR BURNHAM? A TEST.

It’s a test Starmer failed. His unquestioning support for Israel made us complicit in genocide. Will you now distance yourself from Starmer’s position? Will you condemn Israel’s genocide and respect the opinion of the British people who, almost to a man, support Palestine?

There’s another issue you need to address. Over 2,000 British citizens have gone to Israel to serve with the IDF. The IDF is the instrument of Israel’s genocide and is guilty of the most appalling atrocities including the deliberate targeting of children. Some have even treated this as a game targeting different parts of children’s anatomy on different days. You may well have seen the report from a surgeon, recently returned from Gaza, who witnessed this atrocity.

Those who decided to go to Israel to serve with the IDF made a choice. We should make a choice too. We don’t want them back. We don’t want anybody even remotely associated with the IDF in Britain. WILL YOU REVOKE THEIR BRITISH CITIZENSHIP? This is a test you don’t need to fail.

Oh, and one other point. Israelis don’t need a visa to visit Britain. Why? All Israelis should have to apply for a visa before coming to the UK. This would give us the option to exclude anyone who had recently served in the IDF.

Lastly, if you don’t repeal Starmer’s draconian anti protest laws, and if you continue to allow the Met to arrest people for peacefully protesting against Israel’s genocide and for supporting the Palestinian cause, any respect or support you might have gained will evaporate.

We’ll let you know if you passed the test.
