Kapag magagaling ang mga abugado ng prosekusyon at depensa, masarap makinig; ang dami nating natutuhan. Ang problema, kapag may umentra na senator-judge na ‘bopol’, nakaka-bobo naman. Win some, lose some.
On April 19, 2005, the Catholic Church elected its chief theologian as pope
Joseph Ratzinger had spent 23 years identifying every error that had entered the Church since the 1960s
The press called him God's Rottweiler
He resigned eight years later
His successor undid most of his legacy while he was still alive
In Angola, Pope Leo XIV warns against mixing traditional African religious practices with Catholicism:
“Therefore, we must always be vigilant regarding traditional forms of religion certainly rooted in our culture but which, at the same time, risk confusing, and mixing in elements of magic and superstition. That do not help in their spiritual journey.
Stay faithful to what the church teaches. Trust, your shepherds, and keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, who reveals Himself in the Word, and in the Eucharist.”
PLEASE HELP SPREAD THIS MESSAGE FROM VETERAN VATICAN JOURNALIST EDWARD PENTIN:
“On March 19 my verified X account (@EdwardPentin) which I’ve had since 2008 was hacked and effectively stolen by someone called @RyanJamess4h. X has so far not allowed me to regain access to my account and my 50K+ followers despite me giving X full details of what happened and verifying my identity. Stealing other people’s X accounts should obviously not be allowed to happen and yet I’m told it is by no means rare and there’s practically no recourse for those affected. I am therefore publicly asking @X / @ElonMusk to resolve my case and any others like mine as soon as possible, returning these accounts to their rightful owners. Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help diffuse this message. ~ Edward Pentin.
Below is (1) a screenshot of a past tweet from my verified account, (2) my account in the process of being hacked and stolen, and (3) a screenshot of the account once it had been stolen.”
JUST IN: Pope Leo XIV’s Vicar General for the Diocese of Rome issues statement after the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, was barred by Israeli police from entering the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre to celebrate Palm Sunday Mass: https://t.co/ErrkA1ge0z
Press Statement from the Diocese of Rome
The Diocese of Rome expresses its fraternal closeness and solidarity with Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, and with Father Francesco Ielpo, Custodian of the Holy Land, following today’s report from the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custody of the Holy Land.
We have learned with deep sorrow that ecclesiastical authorities were prevented from accessing the Basilica of the Holy Sepulchre to celebrate the Palm Sunday Mass — an act that appears serious and unjustified, and which raises grave concerns for freedom of worship and for the respect of the Status Quo in the Holy Sites.
In a time marked by tension and suffering, the witness of those who work tirelessly for dialogue and reconciliation deserves respect, attention, and protection. Through his pastoral mission and steadfast dedication to peace, Cardinal Pizzaballa stands as a spiritual and human reference for all who believe in the power of fraternity among peoples.
The Diocese of Rome joins in the prayer offered this afternoon from the Mount of Olives, asking the Lord to grant the gift of peace for Jerusalem, for the Holy Land, and for all peoples affected by violence, so that hostilities may cease and paths of justice, respect, and coexistence may be opened. Furthermore, we raise our supplication for the Palestinian population of Gaza and the West Bank, severely affected by the violence of weapons and by humanitarian suffering that calls upon the conscience of the international community.
Baldassare Card. Reina,
Vicar General of His Holiness for the Diocese of Rome

In 2016, Pope Francis supported and ordered the release of a document for the Congregation of the Clergy titled "The Gift of the Priestly Vocation", in which it was restated that men with "deep-seated homosexual tendencies" could not be admitted to the seminary or the priesthood.
"In relation to persons with homosexual tendencies who seek admission to Seminary, or discover such a situation in the course of formation, consistent with her own Magisterium, “the Church, while profoundly respecting the persons in question, cannot admit to the seminary or to holy orders those who practise homosexuality, present deep-seated homosexual tendencies or support the so-called 'gay culture’. Such persons, in fact, find themselves in a situation that gravely hinders
them from relating correctly to men and women. One must in no way overlook the negative consequences that can derive from the ordination of persons with deep-seated homosexual tendencies "

“She warned of Church corruption, moral collapse, and a Freemasonic takeover.”
The Virgin Mary appeared in 1600s Ecuador with chilling prophecies.
The convent buried them.
Now a Vatican-approved devotion.
Our Lady of Good Success 🧵 :
No modern saint has more medically documented miracles than St. Charbel Makhlouf.
Over 29,000 are on record, many with scans and doctor reports.
It began in 1898 with a strange light over his grave and a body that oozed for decades.
The astonishing miracles of St. Charbel 🧵:
In the Protestant view, you go straight to the King—alone.
In the Catholic view, when you go to the King...
His Mother meets you at the door.
His foster father places a hand on your shoulder.
The whole family of saints rejoices.
Why would I settle for going alone?
Catholics don’t go around Jesus.
We go through His family... because that’s how He came to us.
The Incarnation came through Mary.
The protection of the Savior came through Joseph.
We’re not settling for less.
We’re embracing the fullness of the love Jesus Himself chose.
I’ve been reading the Church Fathers and other ancient Christians almost everyday since the summer of 2017.
I have yet to find a single one who did not believe that the Blessed Virgin Mary was a perpetual virgin.
They knew Scripture better than any of us. They lived and died for the faith.
Were they all just confused for millennia, to the point that they failed to perceive what was so “obvious” and “clear” according to later sects?
Or—a shocking thought for most modern people, I know (that they could be wrong because they have not rightly received something from their ancestors)—could the later sects who contradicted them be missing something?
“Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by giving heed to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons” (1 Tim. 4:1).
