Next time you’re in a loosing trade pretend like the person who doubts you is looking over your shoulder

Would you let that person see you being down -50% on a play ?

What if your mentor was looking over your shoulder ?

Would you still hold on to that trade ?

I guarantee you that you wouldn’t let it go further than -30%

Truth is we all lack holding ourselves accountable when we are doing a bad job because no one else is being affected by the outcome but ourselves.

No one sees our mistakes but ourselves.

However, you need to truly understand you’re not just loosing your own money or profits, but you’re also taking steps backwards which means you are applying a further delay on your success

time always = money
money always = time

We have to stop the self sabotage. Respect the blood sweat and tears that you’ve put in to learn this skill. Improve on cutting losses.

Not having your losses under control is what’s holding you back.

“Okay, how do I know when to cut ?”

Try focusing on a really good entry near an area where price tends to bounce or reverse. Enter the trade with confidence . If it doesn’t go your direction its invalidated because it either broke the support or resistance of that area . You could easily cut at -20% or less if you follow the rule.

A good entry allows you to see the trade be invalidated quickly or when it’s working im your favor.

This is my system…if it breaks that area it’s much easier to recognize it’s time to cut. Sometimes it’s 2 candles against me and I’m out and yes it kept going the opposite direction, you’ll be glad you cut.
