.@AMCTheatres@Cinemark@RegalMovies etc, you have the control of theater distribution. Take control of the production pipeline as well. Make deals directly with filmmakers for production of films with exhibition window lengths you dictate. Do with theater distribution what the streamers are doing with online distribution. We can get the money easily with pre-distribution deals set with you.
@LinusEkenstam Youβve got a weird jihad going on hereβ¦.interesting storytelling tool no doubt. But thereβs pure magic in surrendering to a shared experience in a cinema
I sold a series to Universal. :)
In mid-2022 I had an idea to create a doc-series about the creation of EPIC UNIVERSE, through the lens of the entire history of Universal. I created a pretty awesome deck & teaser with my longtime friend & collaborator @brytothefuture, and over 9 months annoyed my way to a meeting with an amazing SVP at Universal Theme Parks. She loved the concept, and with her as the champion of the project β 9 months later I was officially brought on board as an EP, and developed it together with Universal & Peacock.
I canβt believe this happened, and it was So Damn Hard to make it happen. :) Iβm so excited for you to see it β itβs 3-part series, and it comes out on JULY 24 on Peacock.
You are welcome to binge it, and I think you all will love it. :)
EPIC RIDE: the story of Universal Theme Parks
Did a thing in 2024. co-developed a 3-part docuseries for Universal Pictures.
I gotta admit, this is pretty surreal seeing this news. Series premieres July 24 on Peacock.
