@Neccccy 100%, incredible to think that this ***** decision has screwed us all. I am furious knowing he opened the floodgates, what the f*** gave him the right to do so.
@FrankenforIowa This is a joke, yea? JDV spoke the truth, he said what everyone in europe is thinking & wanted to say, god bless him for doing so. Do you actually understand what is happening in the world. STRONG leaders required. No apologies required #twat
@jbanningww1 The A38 three way lights are the problem, yes but it was pandamonium getting out of the "drop and go" zone, 4 lanes into 1 with no traffic control, mass free for all. Take a lot more time than normal if anyone intends on going to Bristol Airport.
Thread.

Beware folks, Avon and Somerset are short for their Christmas bash, speed camera top end of fortfield whitchurch, hiding in between park cars at 6.20am.
That’s it for our trip. We had a lovely meal and then all headed back to Bristol. Looking forward to getting out on the battlefields next year with my mate Clive Burlton and the rest of the group. If you fancy joining us then take a look at https://t.co/QjQr9KG6KR
Got back last night & we’d been burgled. Amongst all the stuff gone was my Dad’s war medals. They are irreplaceable & even though he’s been dead for 33 years, it’s another part of him that’s gone & I’m heartbroken. I don’t know where they would sell them, any ideas? 😢
Can anyone #help me with #information on the Wytschaete (Catacombe) Dugout? It was first mentioned by the 250th Tunnelling Company in June/July 1917 but not by the units that were active in the area afterwards. Looking for plans/sketches and info on its use.

Excellent double-page spread on our efforts to save and restore the memorial to the 6th Gloucesters in today's @Bristol_Times. Many thanks @EugeneByrne, much appreciate this 👍
If you'd like to help us save the memorial to 842 men... https://t.co/saZXdnaQrx #Bristol
So much happening on the Arras battlefield 103 years ago today – the capture of Monchy-le-Preux & the First Battle of Bullecourt. I’m sure others will cover these actions in detail as we all face another day in lockdown #Arras103
