@IndiGo6E hope you realise you have an obligation towards the passenger who patronize your carrier. This obligation is not restricted to the safety of the passenger only, his baggage also has to be restored to the passenger at the destination station,which you assumed custody of from the passenger at the origin station. It is expected that you will rectify this situation with minimum lapse of time & least inconvenience to the hapless victim of your inefficiency. Under such circumstances you have to deploy all your resources to trace the missing baggage & restore it to the rightful owner that is the passenger, besides this you are called upon to update the passenger regularly & ensure there is no further inconvenience caused beyond what you have already caused. Expect to hear a positive response on this platform from you. Important you don't harrass your passengers but assist them.
