Hear me out. A story that features a miscommunication trope between a couple, one of whom has a mental illness that affects memory and perception (MC). ex. depression, PTSD, anxiety

The MC one learns to trust the LI to support them rather than take advantage of them while the LI discovers this mental illness is a small fraction of this person and they are actually great. They develop the patience and skills to navigate the mental illness. (Cont.)

Writing is one of those rare professions where you can work all day, churn out a lot of product, delete it all, and still call it a productive day because at least you learned what direction not to travel.

When I crush garlic with a knife, I think of how young Snape thought to do the same thing for the luck potion and imagine him learning to cook at a young age either out of necessity or perhaps someone actually loved him enough to teach him, which is why he’s so good at potions.

Do I keep my productive writing session going or do I go to sleep because I have work in the morning? Sometimes, I wish I COULD be a full-time writer.

I think my MC would really like rock, especially some of the more modern stuff. She can be really intense and aggressive, but every once in a while her soul is a deep ballad with sweet guitar solos.
