@sam_d_1995@mcuban DC statehood is dumb. Who wants a state consisting of one city. If anything, it should be returned to the states that it was originally carved out of.
@RocketPulpHack@monsterhunter45 Polygraphs are a load of bull. I've taken one 3 times. Same questions all three times, same answers. I failed one, got "inconclusive" on one, and passed one.
@JulieCFrost It appears that I was wrong, and can only blame incomplete reporting by CBS.
Although I do find it suspicious that a web search shows a lot of other new sources quoting her tweet, but I can't find anything about it on Fox News' own site.
@DoNutWhole2025@JulieCFrost I believe that once he lost his asylum case he should have been deported immediately, but he wasn't and he was given a work permit.
I'm all for deporting people here illegally, but don't think that we should be propagating lies to defend it when it happens.
@DoNutWhole2025@JulieCFrost Directly from the report: "In 2012, a U.S. immigration judge ruled that Diawara could not be deported to Mali, but the U.S. could find a safe alternative if it ever wanted to remove him from the country. As a result of the ruling, Diawara was able to get a U.S. work permit."
@JulieCFrost He claimed that he would be persecuted because he had converted to Christianity and Mali is a Muslim majority country, not because he was gay.
He also had a valid work permit, so he didn't need to steal anybody's identity to work for Uber.
@uncvoss You can always start the process 4-6 weeks before your registration expires. Or, do it the old fashioned way and go the the DMV and spend more than $12 worth of you rime to re-register in person.
@BradRTorgersen "Setting aside the fact the man is *old* and has no desire for a third term"
Except for the fact that he keeps talking about running for a third term at campaign rallies and other events.
