Just so people understand: It is Trump’s Iran war that is driving the debt and interest rate crisis. Asian economies are tanking because they are starved of oil, that, in turn, is punishing their currencies, and Japan in particular is selling our bonds to try to prop their currency up.
As they sell, that exacerbates the crisis. If Trump truly tries to target Iran economically next week further, it’ll be pouring the last gasoline we have right on the fire.
We’re watching this man break the global financial system for nothing. The deal Iran offered in February was better than what he can or will get now. And we’re all going down with him.
Trump announced they are importing a bunch of foreign beef (with your tax dollars) and then selling it at a 25% loss to appease the consumers before the midterms. Not only is that communism, it undercuts American beef producers. Why they still support Trump I'll never understand
For every dollar we spend on SNAP we return $1.80 back in economic activity. It goes right back into the system while also ensuring kids don’t starve. It’s a win for everyone which makes sense why Trump is gutting it.
Guys, holy shit. NYC is going to start treating wage theft like the crime it always was. THAT MEANS CRIMINAL CHARGES CAN NOW APPLY INSTEAD OF JUST FINES
Around $12 trillion, or roughly 30% of today's entire $40 trillion U.S. national debt, was added by the two Trump administrations.
Vance is lying. As usual.
Dude got called out on social media for riding a bike without a helmet. Realizing yeah, good call, starts wearing one and then a few days later he's promoting free helmets for the public. How can anyone hate on this guy?
The dictatorship of capital forces children into school for most of the day, then refuses to guarantee they’ll be fed while they’re there. Compulsory attendance, optional nutrition. What kind of evil fucking system mandates a child’s presence but not their lunch?
Like, this is who Trump is, and we know it. But what fucking disgusts me is the fact that nobody else says anything. The rest of the press corps is full of fucking cowards.
I get it, Newsmax and Fox aren’t going to say shit when Trump does this. But goddamnit, if you’re with one of the networks, MSNBC, or whatever the fuck, and you see another journalist getting berated like this, stand up. Immediately. Tell Trump to answer the question and act like a professional.
At some point, the press corps has to stop sitting there silently while one of their own gets publicly humiliated for doing their fucking job.
On Friday afternoon, a regulator Donald Trump appointed approved a bank Donald Trump's family owns, to issue a coin that makes Donald Trump money, under a law Donald Trump signed.
First time in American history.
Dropped at 4pm on a Friday, because they were counting on you not looking.
Here's what they buried:
The OCC — run by Trump appointee Jonathan Gould — granted World Liberty Trust Co. a national trust bank charter. World Liberty is 38% owned by "an entity affiliated with Donald J. Trump and certain of his family members."
That's not my framing. That's on their website.
"It's just a trust charter, it can't take deposits." Correct. It doesn't need to. That's not the business.
The business is USD1, their stablecoin.
You hand them a dollar. They park it in Treasuries. They keep the interest. And under the GENIUS Act — signed by Trump in July 2025 — they're legally barred from passing that interest to you.
All house money.
Friday's charter lets them cut out their middleman and run issuance, custody, and reserves in-house. Fatter margins. Federal seal. Institutional clients.
Now ask where the dollars come from.
A state-backed Abu Dhabi fund settled a $2 BILLION investment into Binance using USD1. World Liberty told Congress the deal likely would've used foreign currency if USD1 hadn't existed.
Meaning: it was routed through the President's balance sheet on purpose.
As of February, Binance held 87% of every USD1 in existence.
Binance's founder was pardoned. By Donald Trump.
Line it up:
→ He signed the law that built the market
→ He appointed the regulator
→ The regulator approved his family's bank
→ The bank prints the coin that pays him
→ A foreign government pumped $2B into it
→ It sits on an exchange whose founder he pardoned
→ The bank's board is chaired by the son of his Middle East envoy
He disclosed $57.4 million from World Liberty on one filing.
Elizabeth Warren: the first president in history to approve, operate, and supervise his own bank.
CREW: the most egregious example yet of the President's businesses profiting off his government job.
Democrats introduced the Ending Presidential Corruption in Banking Act the same day. It bans regulators from chartering banks owned by the president. It will not pass.
Watch who votes against it anyway.
The OCC says career staff handled the review and everyone met their ethical obligations. Fine. Maybe every signature was clean.
That IS the story.
Nobody has to break a rule when you own the people who write them.
They did it on a Friday because Friday is where things go to die quietly.
Don't let it.
every time you watch Zohran being a generational political talent, just remember that the entire Democratic establishment opposed his candidacy and his policy platform and did everything they could do to prevent him from becoming mayor
Insurance executives admitted they intentionally denied Forrest VanPatten's cancer treatment claim even though it was illegal due to laws forcing insurers to approve cancer treatments. Forrest died before being told this&not a single exec was ever charged
Imagine if Kamala Harris became the first female president of the United States and then tore down the East wing, obsessed about a ballroom, started a losing war with Iran, took away health care and food from children, raked in billions, fired everyone to put her friends in their positions, fell asleep on camera consistently, mouthed off on social media, openly prosecuted people she didn’t like without real cause, started a slush fund to fund domestic terrorists, and generally lied every second of the day. She wasn’t even allowed to laugh.
