@SportsSturm channeling my inner Norm with a key play you may not remember that had an impact on the game😀. On the 3rd down before OSU converted the 4th and 2, 2 UT DB’s had a chance to tackle the OSU TE to make it 4th and 8. The TE breaks 2 tackles and gets 6 xtra yds.

@RedRanger2022 @tacodoggins @SportsSturm Not sure that’s right, but maybe I’m reading your reply wrong. If the WR is covering up the tackle then the tackle is not eligible, correct? The only way the tackle would be eligible would be if 1) he reports as eligible & 2) no player is on the line of scrimmage outside of him.

@SportsSturm Bob, Monty didn’t have his A game, but he wasn’t bad Saturday. Only gave up 2 runs through 6 innings. Probably shouldn’t have pitched the 7th. I’d say he fought and grinded just as well as Eovaldi did in Game 1. Eovaldi gave up 5 in 4.2 innings. Our bats lost game 2.
