Hello #KidLitArtPostcard! So happy to see you again!
I’d love to illustrate #PB, #MG & #YA stories with natural beauty, tender moments and sparks of magic.

You can read more about this orca, tragically taken away from her family in the wild in the summer of 1970, in my book SUPERPOD (which comes out April 11!)
This news is a positive step.

Hey #kidlit#Writingcommunity! Excitement is in the air as we wait for tomorrow's announcement of @MindyAlyseWeiss's #PBParty Finalists!
Like you, I'm🤞🤞🤞, but regardless of what happens, here are some opportunities to work on your writing this spring...

How do you decide if an idea is good enough to turn into a PB #PBParty?
🌟As I flesh out #Storystorm ideas, some wave, jump & demand to be PBs.
🌟Sometimes I just go with my gut. Writing at least 12 new PBs a year, I can play with a fun or heartfelt idea & see where it goes.
My 6yo had a funny dream involving Rose the Yard Duty from IVY AND BEAN and now my new writer goal is writing characters so memorable they show up in kids’ dreams. #amwriting
Happy #MLKDay! As you go about your day, we hope this quote from Martin Luther King Jr. inspires you:
“If you can't fly then run, if you can't run then walk, if you can't walk then crawl, but whatever you do, you have to keep moving forward.”
I never read "Are You There God? It's Me, Margaret." And now a movie is coming out, so I just checked the book out from the library. Did you read it when you were young? I read other Blume books.
