The Yoruba language is one of the best in the world. Even non-Yoruba creatives unwittingly promote the supremacy of the Yoruba language in the pop culture scene. Many of the musicians and creators who produce works in the Yoruba language are non-Yoruba.
@scottbolshevik I believe it has to be what is called in Nigeria “I have arrived issue” or maybe inferiority complex. It could also be another thing entirely. I am amazed myself as a Nigerian as I don’t usually see people from very poor countries in Africa do it when they get the citizenship.
@scottbolshevik No Nigeria is not unliveable. I shuffle between Nigeria and the UK and I can tell you I enjoy both countries. I also notice that Nigerians who got British citizenship don’t flaunt it like their peers in Noth America (particularly Canada). It has to do with the individual.
