“He needs people to love him right now ... If no one else will do it, I’ll do it.”
Derek Carr says he'll always be there for former teammate Henry Ruggs.
@RealSkipBayless But guess what? You’re not. You’ve never played past high school or coached in any capacity. You are exactly what’s wrong with our society by standing being a keyboard and acting like your voice means anything. Just so you know I’m not a Skat fan whatsoever. Insanity and delusion
The NFL has had “black lives matter” painted on all the fields for years.
“End racism” on all the helmets.
They added the “Black National Anthem” to pregame.
They encouraged players to kneel during the National Anthem.
But if you even show a sliver of support for Trump, or Conservative values of any kind, the Left, and their lapdog media, will lose their ever loving minds and claim that we are bringing politics into sports.
They truly believe that their beliefs are the only acceptable ones, and that anyone who veers from their Left-wing ideology should be shamed, vilified, and cancelled. They intentionally created an environment where you are rewarded for showing support for the Left, but crucified for showing support for the Right.
It’s not that they don’t want politics in sports, they just don’t want anyone else’s politics in sports. The pendulum has swung back, and they don’t like it now.
Too late.
A NHL Playoff game in Montreal at the Bell Centre puts the Super Bowl, College Football Playoff, Final Four, NBA Finals, College World Series, & the World Series to shame! #GoHabsGo
I’ve refrained from hopping on the fire Yzerman train for a while but after this performance I’m reconsidering. You are playing a bottom 3 team with nothing to play for themselves, playoffs on the line, a 45 year old goaltender and show up like this? Unreal @WingedWheelPod
@971theticketxyt Dude I don’t disagree with all of these points because I think there is validity to a lot of it but at the same time - what the hell have you played? You’re calling these guys out like you know their character? They are professional sports players and you sit behind a microphone
@RedWingDiehards Bingo exactly. I have zero problem with McClellan. Everything he says seems to be spot on point. There are bigger issues here man. Like everyone being infatuated with Larkin only because of the fact he is from Michigan. Love him, but it’s time to look at this objectively
Vince Vaughn is criticizing late night TV shows for having political agendas: "You don’t want to become part of a group and feel like you’re a champion for one ideology. You want to make fun of everybody."
“The podcasts have gotten so much more popular with less production, less writers, less staff. And the reason is … people want authenticity. The talk shows, to a large part, became really agenda-based. They were going to [evangelize] people to what they thought. And so people just rejected it because it didn’t feel authentic. It felt like they had an agenda. It stopped being funny, and it started feeling like I was in a fucking class I didn’t want to take. I’m getting scolded.” (via "This Past Weekend podcast)

Lot of over coaching happening by the coach in the dugout. Not saying all do it. Players need a few words, not an entire conversation. During game is wrong time for a lot of “coach speak”. If HC did job in practice, not a lot of coaching during game, just reminders. #2eachhisown
Kobe Bryant died 6 years ago.
People forgot about him after just a week since he was gone.
And he was a basketball legend.
You're literally a nobody.
Realize no one cares if you live or die. So live your life the way you want anyway.
Take risks so you don't live in regret.
Imma keep it a stack.. I don’t care, I’m retired I’ll say what I want. These NFL teams come out here and post these mental health awareness posts talking about they care about players “don’t be afraid to reach out”etc. All they care about is what you bring to the table when it’s game day. Most players don’t wanna get help inside the building of an NFL organization because they know you’ll get looked at differently. You go to a staff member tell em you struggling watch how different they start treating and looking at you. I seen it first hand..
I’ll start believing they care about player health when the Owner, GM, & head coach treat everyone on that roster the same from the franchise QB to the janitor. Until then don’t tell me they care cause they posted some hotline number when shit like this happens.
I’m here for any of my brothers that just wanna talk and shoot the shit. I love y’all. I care about y’all. I’m here for y’all.
I’m not jumping to conclusions, but let me say this. Fans and media be quick to label a player “injury prone” We don’t choose to get hurt… sometimes shit just happens. Y’all don’t see the rehab, the pain, the mental drain it causes. That process can make you lose yourself. This shit is real. No matter how much support you get, you still gotta fight that battle alone.
Prayers up for Rondale Moore and his family. He was a baller, no question.
Once again ... for scorekeepers, announcers and coaches
A ball in the dirt is only 1 of 2 possible things...
1. A Wild Pitch
2. A Saved Wild Pitch (aka a block)
An attempted block is never a passed ball. Good Lord people why is this so difficult to grasp??
@under2catching Have always had to preach this over and over - you’d be shocked how many people at all levels (including NCCA and Minors) that STILL cannot grasp this. Catchers stats get mistakenly effected more than people realize.
