#JSVYear3 made an important discovery on the playground. Pieces of metal were hiding under the Autumn leaves. When we put them together, this is what we made π€π€#TheIronMan
In the Dutch lessons, we acted out how Sinterklaas and Piet fill the shoes. A great opportunity to repeat the same language structures! @bsnjsv#jsvy4#jsvdutch#bsnlanguages
Sinterklaas visited @bsnjsv and made a big mess, looking for his golden chocolateletter! Luckily he filled our 'schoenen' with mini chocolateletters. Dank u Sinterklaasje! #bsnlanguages#jsvdutch
#JSVYear3 finding their classroom in a total mess! Who created this chaos! Sint and his helpers of course. Finding a chocolate letter in our shoe was so exciting!ππ«
Assemblies are a wonderful opportunity to learn about celebrations around the world. Students at JSV recently shared how they celebrate Diwali! #CharacterandCommunity
So proud of our staff and students who are working together to make positive changes in the world, our local and school community! π @BSNJSV#CharacterandCommunity

We were excited to find out about 2 cultures in our #JSVYear6 culture cafe this week, Germany and England. Tasting delicious lebkuchen was a definite highlight!
#JSVYear3 testing different rocks for their properties. Which rock will make the best garden path? How can we find out? How will we make the test fair?
#JSVYear3 enjoying Forest School. Some much needed sunshine on a November morning! How strong is Mr. Peck? Using the materials from the learning space to create a '"Tug of War". Mr. Peck was still smiling at the end ππ²
What better way to start the term with a #JSVYear6 interhouse basketball competition. It was a wonderful way for the children to show the efforts of their learning during their recent basketball unit in PE. Well done to the winning house, Gouda!
Our first #JSVYear6 culture cafe this academic year taught us all about Argentina. It was interesting to learn about landmarks, animals, the tango, foods and, of course, Argentinaβs famous footballers.
