@bagga_buntyy1 Yes. MGMD was very well made. Besides Dharmendra, VK & AP@💯%, it had one very under-rated song in"hai sharmau kis kis ko batau". I rate this & the other one "mar diya Jaye" as among the best "situational songs" of Bollywood. Amazing situation, superbly performed by Laxmi Chhaya.

@nimishdubey @SrBachchan Actually much before also, Amitabh had done similar scene in the film Majboor where he ransacks MacMohan's shop to get information of a person who happens to be Pran.
Though it was quite good, Shaan wasn't regarded as a super-hit because It had high expectations due to Sholay.

@AdhirSinha Contrary to what u said, I read somewhere that the rehearsal itself was okayed. Yes AB took his time to give this shot. This shot was rehersed but was found 💯 nailed. That's why the audio was also not dubbed, you can hear that slight audio disturbance of camera & reel rolling.

Om Shiv Puri was also that little "suspense" in that film 😂
He had good roles in movies like Namak Haram, Karm(1977). In my younger days I used to get mixed up with Om Shiv Puri & one another very good artist named Pinchoo Kapoor.

@InfraholicR I agree. Apart from that caste harmony, even a non-gujrati ready to relocate here will face zero rowdyism,so a peaceful environment which is imp for business, remember Tata & Singur. Not to forget easily accessible ports & best of the roads.

@sidchhaya In Maninagar shop they keep Thepla at the cash counter, not anywhere else in those farsan sections. Only at the main counter where coupons are issued. To the right hand side while entering. Enjoy, it's nicely packed with one sachet of pickle inside. Also very reasonably priced.

@AdhirSinha I think it would be wrong to say Amitabh dethroned & became superstar due to RajeshKhanna's mistakes.The public had enough of romantic running around trees type heros. People in 1970s were also angry due to Indira's conservative economic policies, scarcity of Roti Kapda & Makan.

Actual background before this scene if I recollect correctly is something like "I am falling in love with a stranger" And then an action music for this walk. You should have kept the original sound.

@sathyashrii If at all I have matured in anything (am 63 now), it is that since about 20-30 years I realized how BETTER & how MORE DESERVING these hard-working people are than the rich lot. In my early days I might have been a bit insensitive, I realized & try to be as good as I can to them

But soon he started to fail.
I observed that he had started to bowl flat, safe. While, earlier when he took those wkts he used to be raw, he used to flight, give more air.

Yes u r partly right as Amitabh was best. But about 1:3 "fufas" just for the sake of differing from the masses, would regard Vinod Khanna or Raj Kumar. One friend argued with me for months that"Shatrugan Amitabh ko kha gaya in Dostana & Kala Pathhar"😅

@KiranKS @nsitharaman Nirmalaji has done an amazing job, against all odds be it covid or war.
A thankless job.
Personally she has no controversy or allegations be it of corruption or misuse of power. This is no mean thing. Remember Cong's scam days, Chidambaram's terrace cauliflower farm, laloo etc.

@IndiaHistorypic My first TV of early 1980s was Nelco Orneta, a Tata product. It was superb! Purchased it as Bensen & Hedges tournament was underway in which India became champions, Ravi Shastri won Audi. The TV lasted long, my next TV was Panasonic as it had more channels.

@wrwre @NayabSainiBJP I was 5 when I came to Ahmedabad in 1969 & am living here since then. Basically I belong to Bengaluru and am always in touch with relatives there. But even after my retirement,I am 63 now, I wish to continue living in Ahmedabad till Shiva calls me up, I die.

@aka911_ Actually, unknowingly they are only harming the Hindu religion. I am a staunch Hindu, I feel embarrassed and very sad looking at such incidents.
Nothing personal against this kid but he is being wrongly used. Hope sense prevails upon his parents and those supporting such acts.

But imagine our plight. Outside Karnataka, in places like Guj or Raj'than, sometimes in idli dish the chutney served is devoid of its main ingredient the coconut. To add insult to injury😄once at a wayside dhabha I ordered Idli & the chutney there was loaded with pudina!
