This week has been particularly bad for it.

Today it’s this stupid datamining rumour, yesterday it was log in witchunting, the day before it was fearmongering about Valkyries being banned from the LaDS booth, the day before that it was the cyber murder truck thing (which none of us were allowed to criticize for some reason), the day before that it was viciously attacking ValkoHQ asking people not to harass staff at Gamescom, the day before that it was falsely claiming normal players were paid shills because they were mutuals.

Even before this week there was the push to get Gamescom to ban LaDS, or using that one hashtag, or lies about how Valko’s files had been deleted, trying to get global players to protest at embassies, rumours about how his messages would be deleted, the list goes on & on & on, I’m sure I missed a ton.

It’s always the same people pushing these narratives & even giving them the benefit of the doubt that they mean well they are crying wolf way too often & it’s getting exhausting.

the nicest thing about deciding my stance and approach for this protest based on my own research and my own internal moral compass is that if it turns out that one of my close twt buds is actually a paid shill or an anti-in-disguise or a manipulative radical or whatever, it won't actually matter 🤷‍♀️ (they're not, but let's pretend for the sake of the argument)

no one can manipulate you if you act according to your own integrity, so it doesn't actually matter who is or isn't one of those groups as long as you're checking in with your brain and heart as we go along.

all we need to do is keep boycotting, babes. don't login, don't spend, don't harass anyone else about their choices. the rest is noise; useful and interesting to learn about if you have the emotional space, or perfect for muting and ignoring if you don't.

(fun fact, I once got a "wrong number" message from a scammer on whatsapp and strung them along for over a month with them getting more and more frustrated that I wasn't taking their word for how cool cry*to is and how I should buy a bunch of it with them. I always start off with assuming the best of people, but I won't be taken advantage of 😘)

That's all it is, a stamped copy of a government customer service letter. 🤦‍♀️

It does NOT say Valko can never come back, and it doesn't even say the govt ordered his cancellation in the first place... they are merely reporting that they investigated the original sender's complaint and these were the findings, like an after action report.

Don't let people try to scare you with words that aren't there.

If you want more detailed analysis below, keep reading. If not, know that all is as usual and this isn't a thing to worry about.

The seal authenticates the words on the page. It does not add words that aren’t there.

And the words on the page are essentially the same ones I talked about in a previous post:

*The bureau received the complaint and took it seriously.

*Papergames formally met/interviewed with the relevant government department.

*Papergames was told to pay attention to player sentiment, follow applicable laws and regulations, fulfill social responsibility, strengthen content review, establish correct values, uphold cultural boundaries, etc.

*The response then recounts that Papergames subsequently issued announcements, apologized, canceled Ao Yin/Valko-related content and compensated affected players.

*The bureau says it will continue paying attention to Love and Deepspace and says further opinions/suggestions can still be submitted to Papergames.

What it DOESN'T say is the important part.

There is no visible statement equivalent to:

“Ao Yin is prohibited.”

“The character may not be released.”

“Papergames was ordered to cancel Ao Yin.”

“The cancellation must remain permanent.”

“Ao Yin may never return to the game.”

Those would be completely different assertions.

The distinction between these two sentences is enormous:

“We met with the company, reminded them of responsibilities, and afterward the company canceled the character.”

versus

“We ordered the company to cancel the character and prohibit its future release.”

The document says the first, not the second.

There's also a little logical leap happening in the attached OP's post:

Official government response ➡️ official seal ➡️ government permanently banned Valko.

The first two may be true.

The third is a completely separate proposition requiring evidence inside the response or in another regulatory order.

A stamp isn't a magical “and everything the recipient infers from this document is now legally binding” button. 🤦‍♀️😆

So... just smile at the stamped bureaucratic customer service letter they are trying to scare you with.

Hey, all of you people using those aggressive hashtags and nasty words, attacking the people who have been with this movement from the start - take a look at this.

The proof that you always ask for is here for you to see. People want to be angry and that is perfectly normal and fine. But lashing out and pulling down the company will only make sure that Valko never returns. What would he even return to???

On 29 June 2026 Papergames sent out a legal letter and they WARNED that things like this would happen. They’ve been proven right. Don’t be like these people😔
