Yeah I think people don’t recognize extreme negativity as cognitive bias because they conflate pessimism with realism. They’re trying to protect themselves, which I understand.

However, it’s equally possible to be deluded by negativity as it is deluded by positivity & you’re just as susceptible to manipulation & misinformation that reinforces your pre-conceived notions either way.

It’s also not helpful to spread anxiety & pessimism when you’re trying to organize a protest or a boycott that is a long term project. It’s better to try to stay calm & levelheaded & if you can’t it’s worth taking some time away instead.

I just checked XHS, most comments are positive for Raf, you really have to hunt for wolf comments. They even stole our tag the whole world loves Ao Yin and made it about Rafayel! The Raf comments have thousands of likes, we know they use bots but that only makes this more challenging to be seen.

Even right now they are spamming DOZENS of comments per minute.

Keep your wallets closed, dont let the FOMO win!!

The only way we can show that we are the true majority is to withhold our money! Dont let all this effort and love be wasted!

also, re: the boycott, here's my stance: not logging in at all is ideal. logging in but not spending AT ALL is also still boycotting, imo, including using saved resources to pull. but spending "a little" is just... not boycotting lol. so that's where i personally draw the line
