@deandobson91 @Kieranth1995 @AdamP1242 There’s a massive chance we lose Bruno, they kept Bruno F who had a ridiculous season. I think to replicate what Carrick did is very unlikely.

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

@Kieranth1995 @AdamP1242 Nope, time was 2 months ago. We are 3 weeks before the start of the season. This is a big problem.

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

@chrissyirving As I said, get it done much earlier. Pay the release clause and have it wrapped up straight away. This has gone on for weeks now. If it said as soon as we had interest that us and Liverpool have put a bid in, fair enough. But this is an exact repeat of the Ekitike situation.

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

#NUFC are an embarrassment of a club and letting Munoz slip through their fingers proves why we will never be an elite club. Should have paid the release clause nice and early and got all of this done immediately. You sold Gordon for double, just pay it. Incompetent clowns.

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

@chrissyirving But why has this been floating around in the media for a few weeks? We shouldn’t be even giving these other clubs a chance to snipe it. Get it done before anyone catches interest.

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

Often came in clutch for us, but it was time. Flipping 40m to 70mil ain’t bad either. Wish him all the best and excited to see who we bring in #NUFC

[Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano]

🚨💣 BREAKING: Anthony Gordon to Barcelona, here we go! Official bid accepted now by Newcastle board and Saudi owners.

€70m fixed fee plus add-ons to bring final package over €80m for #NUFC.

Gordon set to travel this week for medical and contract signing at FCB. 🔵🔴✈️

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

I will always back England every tournament, but this is a disgraceful squad. How Spence, Henderson, Eze, Toney get in over the likes of Hall, Maguire, MGW, Palmer, TAA is just mental. If we don’t do well, serious questions will be asked @England

[England @England]

It’s official. Your #ThreeLions players heading to the @FIFAWorldCup! 🏆

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

Thought we were in big trouble when Tripps broke his foot. Up stepped Krafu and performed valiantly. Played centre back at Old Trafford in the cup and never looked out of place. Will go down as a very underrated player @NUFC

[Newcastle United @NUFC]

Emil Krafth will bring an end to his seven-year stay at Newcastle United following the expiry of his contract this summer.

He will depart the club with 106 Magpies appearances and a Carabao Cup winners medal to his name.

Thank you for everything, Krafu 🫶

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

It was an absolute disgrace today from manager to player. Elanga couldn’t do a thing right. Tino and Barnes weren’t bothered. Manager took too long to get Nick on, Hall should have never come off. Needs to walk at the end of the season because if this continues his legacy is gone

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

Complacent and bottlers. Terrible team at the moment.

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

You can’t hold onto all your leads, but if we managed to, we would be 3 points off the leaders Arsenal. 25 dropped from winning positions. Absolute lack of mentality from this side. Massive changes needed in summer. #NUFC

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

Tonali, Tripps, Joelinton absolutely ran themselves into the ground. Top saves from Ramsdale. Elanga looked electric. And that Osula goal. Top performance boys.

[Newcastle United @NUFC]

Playing with ten players for the entire second-half, but you wouldn't have thought it.

Exceptional shift, lads! 🙌

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

My favourite player for many years. Gave his everything in times when many other players didn’t. Captain at 22. What a club legend. #NUFC

[Newcastle United @NUFC]

12 years. 253 appearances. A leader on and off the pitch. 🥹

We can confirm that Jamaal Lascelles has completed a permanent switch to Leicester City.

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

Woltemade is just class 🖤🤍 #NUFC

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

I bloody love football. Some outrageous matches to be played under the lights here 😍

[Newcastle United @NUFC]

The @ChampionsLeague draw is here! 😍

This is who we will face in the #UCL league phase... 🧵👇

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

Absolutely gutting but so many of those players can walk off knowing they gave everything. Onto the next #NUFC 🖤🤍

[Newcastle United @NUFC]

Beaten on the night but we hold our heads high.

We are United. 🖤🤍

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

@hall_ishaan @LetsTalk_FPL Could say Watkins to have nailed 90ish, more goal involvement, with best fixtures to start season. If conversation is more wirtz vs Bruno it’s a lot closer, but if it’s Watkins vs Bruno it’s a no brainer for me.

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

@LetsTalk_FPL I think with the uncertainty of where he is playing we are largely paying 9mil for primarily defcon points. I think in a straight shootout over the first X weeks until you wildcard Watkins beats Bruno. I think if you have rogers, Wirtz, Watkins that probably gets you more overall

[Ben Stephens @bstephens99]

Will go down as a fav favourite - couldn’t fault his work ethic. Will always remember that last minute winner against Chelsea.

[Newcastle United @NUFC]
