कार की सर्विस पर कहीं आपकी जेब तो हल्की नहीं की जा रही?

​अगली बार सर्विस सेंटर जाने से पहले यह पोस्ट ज़रूर पढ़ लें, वरना हज़ारों रुपये का चूना लगना तय है।

कार की सर्विस के दौरान खर्च कम करना मुश्किल नहीं है, बस थोड़ी समझदारी और सही जानकारी ज़रूरी है।

​सबसे पहले यह गांठ बांध लें: हर बार सब कुछ बदलना जरूरी नहीं होता। इंजन ऑयल और ऑयल फिल्टर समय पर बदलना इंजन की सेहत के लिए जरूरी है, लेकिन बाकी चीजों के लिए सर्विस सेंटर की बातों में आने के बजाय यह 'चेकलिस्ट' याद रखें:

​कब क्या बदलना जरूरी है? (Maintenance Guide)

​इंजन ऑयल और फिल्टर: हर 8,000 से 10,000 किमी (या साल में एक बार)।
​एयर फिल्टर: हर 15,000-20,000 किमी पर। अगर धूल कम है, तो सिर्फ हवा से साफ करवाकर दोबारा लगवाएं।
​ब्रेक पैड्स: जब ब्रेक से आवाज़ आए या ग्रिप कम हो (अक्सर 30,000 किमी+ चलते हैं)।
​कूलेंट और ब्रेक ऑयल: हर 2 से 3 साल में सिर्फ एक बार।
​स्पार्क प्लग: साधारण प्लग 25,000 किमी पर, इरिडियम प्लग 80,000 किमी तक चलते हैं।
​टायर रोटेशन & अलाइनमेंट: हर 8,000-10,000 किमी पर करवाएं ताकि टायर लंबे समय तक चलें।

​सावधान रहें: सर्विस सेंटर वाले अक्सर Engine Flush, AC Cleaning या बेवजह Wheel Alignment जोड़ देते हैं। अगर गाड़ी स्मूथ चल रही है, तो इन 'एक्स्ट्रा' खर्चों को मना कर दें।
​सबसे आसान तरीका: अपनी कार की Owner's Manual के हिसाब से चलें और फिजूलखर्ची से बचें।

#WATCH | Delhi: DCP (North Delhi) Raja Banthia says, "Two transactions totalling Rs 140,000 occurred, but the payment didn't reach the shopkeeper despite being deducted from the customer's account. An investigation was launched; the cyber police registered an FIR, traced the account, identified, located, and arrested the individual in Chaksu, Jaipur, Rajasthan. During a search of his residence, we discovered over 100 tampered QR codes. When asked, he explained that he contacted vendors online, showed interest in their products, and requested their QR codes to make payments. He would then use AI software to alter the information on the QR codes and send the modified versions back to the vendors via WhatsApp. Sometimes, these edited QR codes would automatically save into the vendors' phone galleries, with the merchant's name changed but the QR code itself intact. When someone needed to pay, they would use these saved, altered QR codes from their gallery. This method formed the core of his fraud scheme, and we suspect there could be more victims involved. We will continue the investigation based on the seized items and his phone..."
