@atrupar Yeah. one of the greatest ‘exports’ we have is our university system. These students are essential to the furtherance of education globally. The ignorance that clearly misses the point here is glaring and on point for any supporter of this trump administration
Trump’s Dir of National Economic Council Kevin Hasset is a real gem.I have former students who know economics better. If he is elevated to Fed Chair we are in for a possible reversal of US lead monetary policy for the world-threatening our reserve currency status, and that matters!
@SquawkCNBC So because they always say what we want to hear, and do the opposite, we need to be watching the FDIC, the FED Reserve, and Treasury very closely. Once they announce it it will be too late for those of us non billionaires.
@RpsAgainstTrump He will not acknowledge, ever, how dependent we are and have been on our allies. We don’t grow to the largest economy without the global market and our relations with the world. But his assets are well protected off shore and hidden so when financial crisis hits his assets are safe
@TheEconomist This is not how you treat allies. Trump/Vance wouldn’t know international diplomacy if their lives depended upon it.Trump behaved like a child, Vance a bully’s friend. This is embarrassing. The House and Senate foreign relations committee need to rein this BS in. @GOP,@WhiteHouse
@fingeronthpulse@patriottakes The trajectory of the turf seems way to shallow for it to have been a good shot, but I am beginner to question why no one is ever behind him when he swings, for a better camera angle. Put shot tracer on him….
@monberkel @cspan Treasury checks this every year. Where is DOGE on that? oh that’s right, not everything is subject to efficiencies.(20 million for super bowl, Daytona, 10.3 million for golf-at his own club mind you!)
@JDVance Please explain what Pres Biden broke in 4 yrs? When you took office inflation had returned to ‘normal’. It’s heading back up, due to the massive amounts of unemployment and uncertainty your admin is currently causing. Stop rewriting the past to justify your incompetence.
@FixingEducation Ideally you are correct. ‘We have no money for teachers’ district business managers would argue they can’t afford smaller class sizes. Besides, where will the needed teachers to make this happen appear from? I totally agree, but we need more teachers in the pipe line.
