Yesterday, I tweeted a video showing members of the Bangladesh police callously tossing the injured body of Shykh Yamin, a student at the Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST). They displayed no respect for human life, and left Yamin to die on the street.

Today, I received another video of the same incident, and I am speechless at the brutality. The police not only tossed Yamin's body from their APC (armored personnel carrier) onto the road, but they also threw him over the road divider in the most inhumane manner. A police force like this deserves to be sanctioned and blacklisted. Its members should never be deployed on any @UNPeacekeeping or receive foreign aid.

The internet is still not back on in bangladesh. no bikas and other payment services including banks are working. It’s chaotic, people are unable to reach out to their friends families, it’s devastating, we don’t know what’s happening there. There has to be some solution to it.
