@0xSweep limited downside doesn't mean instant reversal. The box is 75,158–76,444 and it's held all week. Every dip toward the bottom gets bought back. The question isn't whether the floor holds — it's whether we can reclaim 76,444 and turn this into higher lows.
The trapped longs at $82K are the overhang, but the fuel for the move is on the other side — shorts are crowded. Nov 6 alone added 1,971 in OI at the breakdown, and Hyperliquid whales just flipped short. Hold the range lows, reclaim 76,444, and those shorts start covering into the trapped longs' exit. That's the sequence.
@KevinSvenson_ Held up is right. This past week had every reason to break it — $1.28B in BTC ETF outflows, QQQ down 5.23%, and a hot payroll print. Instead BTC held the 75,158–76,444 box all week. That's resilience, not luck.
@Wealthmanager The chart does look heavy, and I wouldn't argue against a dump — but the trigger is precise: 75,654. We've already seen three 1h closes below it on Nov 6 and all three got reclaimed. So the dump starts when it closes below 75,654 and stays below, not on the first touch
Capitulation is real — $380B net selling is an extreme by any measure. But alts usually need BTC to bottom first, and BTC hasn't. It's down ~40% from the ~$126K high and still stuck in a 75,158–76,444 box with no confirmed reversal. The alt selling stops when BTC stops falling, not before
@cz_binance A social login means your wallet is only as secure as your Google or Apple account — if someone gets into that, they get your funds. The whole point of self custody is removing third parties, and a social login quietly puts one back in the middle.
Exactly. And worth noting — we've already seen three 1h closes below 75,654 on Nov 6 (15:00, 16:00, 22:00) and all three got reclaimed. So a single close below isn't the trigger. The setup changes when it closes below and stays below, or the next bar confirms instead of reclaiming.
Seven months long and they flip short right at the lows — that's the tell. My Binance data shows the same thing on Nov 6: the 22:00 bar added 1,971 in OI at the breakdown, the biggest build of the day, all new shorts. When the biggest wallets flip short at the bottom of the box, it's either the smart money or the fuel for the next squeeze.
75K is the right level to watch. The precise version of it from my data: 75,654 is the line — BTC closed just 3.7 points above it this morning at 75,657.7, and the box bottom is 75,158. Hold those and your $78K recovery is on the table. Lose 75,654 on a 1h close and 75,000 is next.
@Jeremybtc Yeah, brutal timing. Anyone who joined this year bought the top — BTC is down ~40% from the ~$126K high and now grinding in a box. But honestly, joining at the worst time is how everyone learns. The ones who stick around through this are the ones who make it next cycle.
@CoinMarketCap Internet, blockchain, AI — that's a clean way to put it. The first two are already infrastructure nobody argues about. Blockchain is still the one governments debate. Once that argument settles, the adoption he's talking about stops being a prediction and starts being a schedule.
This is the right problem. Right now every protocol treats a two-year wallet and a two-day wallet the same — all that history just evaporates when you move. Portable reputation is the piece DeFi is actually missing. If a lending protocol can read proven history and offer less collateral, that changes who gets to borrow.
The dots connect to one number: $75,446. That's Strategy's average cost on 849,327 BTC — and price is sitting right on it at ~$75,900. They're basically breakeven. The whole market is watching whether $75,446 holds as support or becomes the level that puts the biggest holder underwater.
📊 BTC Daily 11/08: +0.22%, an extremely quiet day in the box. Open 75,728 → close 75,895.7. High 76,168.8 / low 75,526.9, range just 0.85%. Volume 24,484 BTC — only 11% of Friday's.
🔑 OI -0.16%, basically flat; total liquidations only $1.70M; funding +0.0043%, still positive but half the week's average. The 21:00 push to 76,168.8 had the day's biggest volume — and got rejected.
🎯 Levels: above 76,444 (1h close above → bearish call void); below 75,654 (break → 75,000); floor 75,158 / 74,810.8. Until volume returns, the box keeps grinding.
