"We need to clone Bitcoin, with 70% premine and scammy ICO, to have larger op_return data encoding and Turing completeness for colored coin schemes!"
"No wait, we actually need that for larger and faster blocks to keep fees low, while still writing everything on-chain, on a single totally-replicated layer 1!"
"No wait, we actually need that for environmentalism and climate change, because proof of work will boil the oceans!"
"No wait, we actually need that for ZK proofs to do proper layerization, across hundreds of non-interoperable layers each one with its own premined token!"
"No wait, we actually need that for QUANTUM!"
A proper bear market can't officially start until the new Ethereum marketing narrative is decided!
Things the BIP 110 supporters are doing:
-Running largely non-economic nodes and/or Sybil spin-ups pretending like they are doing something that matters.
-Calling anyone who doesn’t agree with their insane, Bitcoin killing BIP, a pedo just like they were told in the handbook delivered from Langley.
-Pushing a fork that retroactively freezes existing UTXOs making them permanently unspendable. Confiscation is cool guys!
-Breaking covenants, Ark, BitVM, and every meaningful L2 scaling path by banning OP_IF in Tapscripts. Scaling is for those Core losers…right?
-Pushing a UASF with 0% miner support that guarantees a low-hashrate chain split and hands the narrative to fiat attackers
Things Core supporters are doing:
-Maintaining the actual reference implementation that has protected Bitcoin’s neutrality and censorship resistance for 16+ years
-Giving unavoidable spam the least harmful, fully prunable, 4x more expensive path (OP_RETURN) instead of forcing it into permanent UTXO bloat
-Letting fees do the real filtering (you know, the whole permissionless free market thing we all used to believe in) while preserving scripting so Bitcoin can actually scale to billions of users
One side is running emotional purity theater and trying to cripple the protocol.
The other side is running Bitcoin.
The difference is obvious.
If any Japanese bitcoiners in Osaka or Tokyo would like to purchase a new SeedSigner+, a BTClock, or perhaps an Entropia set, hit me up. Will be in Osaka for the next couple of days, then back in Tokyo on Wednesday afternoon. Sales of these help support my work on the project. 🧡
