This was how @balajis opened his keynote yesterday on Day 1 of Bitcoin Asia. It was bold, backed with history, logical deduction and data.
Seriously. How many people on Earth can make a statement like this with such conviction?
Balaji is not alone. I discovered incredible thinkers like @1MarkMoss, @LeveredUSTs, @MShenWM, @HunterAlbright and many more â each one a node carrying diverse perspectives that converge into a common conclusion: Bitcoin has entered a new era.
And Bitcoin will win.
Thatâs why Iâm glad I made it to Bitcoin Asia Hong Kong. The signal here is the strongestâ the conversations sharper, the ideas bigger. If you get the chance, Iâd encourage you to experience a major Bitcoin conference yourself.
As my own conviction only deepens, I canât help but wonder: how many minds were shifted in that room today?
My take: Still few.
Thatâs why Iâll be continuing to share the signal when Iâm back home in Malaysia â starting with a private session Iâm hosting at Freemasons Hall on September 15.

Would Lee Kuan Yew Buy Bitcoin?
Bitcoin was only 6 years old when Lee Kuan Yew passed in 2015.
10 years later, Pakistan has just announced plans to establish a Bitcoin Strategic Reserveâ joining a growing list of nations embracing Bitcoin.
Hence I wondered:
âWould the Father of Singapore buy Bitcoin if he were alive today?â
Not for speculation.
Not for spectacle.
But to preserve purchasing power, ensure monetary sovereignty, and shield Singapore from global shocks.
That question led me to deep dive into his leadership.
After combing through 50+ sources, 7 key moments stood out â moments that suggest he just might say Yes.

If ever there was a moment to prove that, it happened this past weekend.
Among the 16 participants in this monthâs Bitcoin for Leaders workshop, one stood out quietlyâ but powerfully. A gentleman in his 60s, seated with conservative curiosity, completed the whole 8 hour course from start to finish.
Over lunch, he shared,
âI wanted to learn more about this asset and what it means for my kidsâ future.â
A stark contrast to what I often hear:
âBitcoin is not for meâIâm too old.â

Theyâve spent decades building wealthâ only to see it slowly eroded by inflation, rising fee structures, and geopolitical shifts that feel completely out of their hands.
This monthâs cohort was one of our most diverse yet: accountants, lawyers, managersâand even a participant from Singapore.
And for the first time, the entire workshop was run by another trainer. A quiet milestone in our journeyâbringing us one step closer to scaling Bitcoin education for professionals.
Sometimes, progress doesnât shout.
It just shows up, learns, and passes it on.
Weâve got two more Bitcoin for Leaders workshops coming up in Juneâone in KL, another in Singapore.
