I’d like to tell you everything will be all right and your portfolio will recover.
Unfortunately, I can’t because most of y’all bought a bunch of junk that will not just go lower but be completely wiped out.
So ETH doesn't have a set supply or consensus algorithm, might be labeled a security, has no purpose outside issuing illegal securities, network got clogged by a cat trading app, and price crashed when the market thought its leader died.
That sound like a good investment to you?
If you think about it, Ethereum people are more "Maximalist" than Bitcoiners.
They think Ethereum will fill every single use case (world computer, cryptofuel, tokenize the word, decentralized web 3.0, world religions etc.).
My career in banking taught me people don't give a shit about "innovation" when it comes to their money, they value safety, security, and predictability.
That's why banks market how long they've been around (serving customers since 1850 etc.)
An honest ERC20 token name is "Bitcoin Accumulation Token."
The honest use case description is: "I want more Bitcoin, so I'm creating and selling you this token to trick you into handing over your Bitcoin."
Nocoiners are incorrectly assuming that our current system, which provides the illusion of reward without risk, can continue indefinitely. They will not perceive the risks associated with making this assumption until it is too late. https://t.co/qg4DTpJ9MW
MUST LISTEN speech by @saifedean as he starts his #BitcoinStandard Book Tour in #Austria. Here he makes the case that #Bitcoin's 21 Million $BTC hard cap & inability to make changes via Hard Forks is its MOST important property.
