“History is replete with examples of how governments that have the prerogative to create money out of thin air have almost always abused this privilege by turning it against their own people.” @saifedean, The #Bitcoin Standard
@Londonman90@ProofOfMoney First, BlackRock and Fidelity aren’t going to risk ruining their reputation over losing BTC. Their security is sound. Second, at least you have a chance of BTC being returned, like MT Gox. With self custody, you’re shit out of luck.
@olvelez007 I had a passphrase on 99% of my BTC so didn’t lose much. But my parents lost it all. They took my ColdCard recommendation and lost it all. So many emotions… none of them good.
@Budgetdog_@BitcoinPierre Says those who’ve studied it. There was a day when Amazon was worth only $5B according to the market. Bezos knew its true value.
Hey @mithcoons a few weeks ago on a spaces w/@JoeCarlasare you stated that if the Russell 2000 broke above $2,550, you’d flip bullish. We’re now at $2,604. So you’re bullish now, right?
@EvanAKilgore@TPUSA@RealCandaceO@benshapiro These are blatant lies. The Talmud doesn’t not ever condone lying or hating others. Her lies are getting more and more transparent.
@gauravvarsy@Frank_Giustra@Rajatsoni No one disagrees with that. But it fails as medium of exchange due to its physicality and therefore required USD to be layered on top of it in an attempt to make up for its major flaw. The gold standard then failed in 1971 due to centralization resulting rehypothication.
@DOGE__news Where’s the $200k going to come from? Given no one will be working, it’s not tax revenue. It’s money printing which results in inflation which then gets exacerbated by the fact that we have a shortage in literally everything bc no one is working.
@ScottRagan@SlowToWrite This is not true. Annihilationism is a very modern interpretation. It’s something a number of false sects believe but all sound biblical theologians and respected pastors do not. I’m surprised he seems open to it.
