October has earned my respect.
Across 14 completed years, Bitcoin’s October ranks:
#1 by median return: +12.8%
#2 by average return: +17.7%
Positive in 10 of 14 years.
And this time Bitcoin enters October with the breakout still intact and the 20-day trend rising underneath it.
History does not owe us another strong October.
But when seasonality and structure point in the same direction, I pay attention.
Issue #029 — THE PRICE HOLDS. THE STAKES RISE.

@Cosmos796814151@AAStack I would say focus on an $80 to $800 price range. On the upper price ranges, focus on narrow bar, low risk events and mazimize size up there.
Most people think size maximization shoukd happen at the lower price range. Wrong. It's the opposite.
He must be 4 feet 8.
This idea of not blocking is something you should drop. Protect your world. You wouldn't let anyone come and stay in your house. This is your house, Susie and you have every right to protect it. If that means blocking 85%, do it.
They have that same right too.
Is this the new Bitcoin trend now, going shirtless? Some of my favorite Bitcoiners have lost their shirts.
Don't make me do it guys. Please. 😂

Much respect to Jack. But I think the lesson is bigger than changing devices.
I was one of the people hit by the Coldcard failure, so I have had to think about this very seriously.
We thought self custody had removed trust. It had not. We were still trusting the device to create our keys properly.
A laptop does not remove trust either.
In some ways, it asks you to trust even more.
A laptop has:
An operating system.
A hard drive.
USB.
WiFi.
Bluetooth.
Drivers.
Firmware.
A screen.
A general purpose machine has a lot going on inside it.
That does not make it bad. It just means the trust moved.
My conclusion is different.
I do not want my Bitcoin depending on one device, one company, one piece of software, or one person getting everything right.
The Bitcoin I lost was the Bitcoin that one failure could reach.
My serious holdings were not touched, thank God. They sit behind multiple independent keys, different devices, different locations, and independently created seeds.
I did not survive that failure because I knew it was coming. I survived it because one mistake was not enough.
That is the lesson for me.
Not a better brand.
Not a better laptop.
Not a better single point of trust.
Build custody so that being wrong about one thing does not cost you everything.
My 2 sats.
@Chrissssjohnson@cz_binance@Breedlove22 So true. You may not know this, but you were my inspiration over a year ago. Dialed it in because of you. Thank you. 🙏🏽
