Just checking: I teach precalc and wondering why we teach Descartes rule of signs, listing potential rat. zeros, upper & lower bounds, intermediate val thm for poly’s? They all seem a bit archaic when we have good graphing utilities at our disposal. Thanks. #mtbos #iteachmath

@AnnEliseRecord I do not give “timed tests” in the traditional sense. But how do you treat students who are not done with an exam at the end of a period? Grade what they have? Let them come back? Hold them until they are done?
