I do not think I can be on this app anymore for my mental health tbh like the results of this election have absolutely shattered me and I can’t deal with the doomscrolling. Unfortunately I just literally don’t have anything else to say
In 2020 I was one of 7 dems that won a district that Trump won, so I held a series of listening sessions with people who voted for Trump and voted for me to understand their actions. I reread the transcripts yesterday and much of it felt like it could have been said today. THREAD
@sourprincessttv It is acknowledging how horrible trump will be for women on a national federal level but pretending like passing a prop in your state guarantees you any additional freedoms. It is a false sense of security
My thoughts on Arizona passing prop 139 are that it’s absolutely a win and it’s a great thing but why would we then also elect Trump. People here want protections for themselves but not for others. They are hypocrites and I hate them all.
Every 2-4 years I’m reminded that I’ve been deceived by the many positive male relationships and friendships I have in my life enough to forget how much this country fundamentally loathes women
me at 6:45 pm: eh the results tonight can only stress me out. prob just gonna ignore them entirely :)
me at 9:45 pm: WHERE ARE THE REST OF THE VOTES FROM MECKLENBURG COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA
The red states have less people the red states have less people the red states have less people the red states have less people the red states have less people the red states have less people the red states have less people the red states have less people the red states have less
Couldn’t be me my boyfriend actually likes me and wants me to have rights and would’ve voted Kamala regardless and I actually discuss politics with people I date because I’m not stupid 😌
