@TheEXECUTlONER_ Older homes used to have swamp coolers on the roof and when homeowners bought AC it was way more cost effective to place the AC unit where the swamp cooler was to tie into existing ducts. To redo the whole system and put an air handler lower and a condenser on the ground is $$$$
