IN DANGER OF BEING EUTHANIZED ‼️
Russel Cnty Phenix City, Alabama
These pledges are not for adoption.
They will go directly to the rescue’s vetting & transport for Marley.
Goal: $500 to help Marley to get healthy and on the way to recovery.
🚨 Marley Needs a Hero 🚨
Marley is the sweetest little boy, but his tiny body is covered in painful, irritated skin from head to toe. 😭 His eyes and mouth are red and inflamed, and the hair loss and raw, irritated skin continue down his back and across his body. He looks absolutely miserable.
No dog should have to suffer like this. Despite everything he's going through, Marley is still a gentle, loving little guy who deserves comfort, kindness, and a chance to heal.
Please don't let his condition define him. With proper medical care, good nutrition, and a safe place to rest, Marley has every chance to feel better and finally know what it's like to be loved.
Please help save Marley. He urgently needs a rescue, foster, adopter, and pledges to help cover his medical care and transport. Every share could be the one that saves his life. ❤️🐾

God bless our newly Confirmed yesterday at Sacred Heart Parish in Dearborn. How appropriate we celebrated on the Feast Day of Saints Joachim and Anne. Saint Anne is the patron saint of the Archdiocese of Detroit.
🆘🆘 SAM (ID 259527), 11 WO, MALE– IN QUEENS ACC - came into the shelter as a stray on 7/12/2026.🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
🆘🆘 UPDATE – CAME INTO THE SHELTER WITH BONDED LITTERMATES – CAM (ID 259525) AND BAM (ID 259526) – BOTH ALSO ON EPL- LET’S KEEP THIS FAMILY TOGETHER 🆘🆘 🆘
➡️TBD 7/28/26
➡️ 🆘🆘 1ST Chance on Emergency Placement List – VERY URGENT – 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱
➡️ 15 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ SAM IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - She is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. She has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
What my friends at ACC say about me: I am looking for a home with a patient person. I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you. Sam appears to be fearful and given her age at the time of the assessment (10 weeks old) we believe that she hasn't had much human interaction up to this point and as a result is under-socialized; a condition that should be temporary if she is given appropriate interactions. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

🆘🆘 ANGEL (ID 256308), 5 YO, MALE – IN QUEENS ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 6/4/2026, with the surrender reason stated as animal health - will need ongoing vet care. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
➡️TBD 7/27/26
➡️ TOO LOW ON PLEDGES TO STIMULATE RESCUE INTEREST
🆘🆘 7th Chance on Emergency Placement List – ON BORROWED TIME – SHELTER AT CAPACITY- NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT/HELP ANGEL - HIGHEST EU/SILENT KILL RISK –🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱
➡️ 52 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ ANGEL IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - He is not thriving in the care center and is deteriorating in the Adoptions room and no longer tolerates petting or handling, escalating very quickly when approached for socialization and during kennel cleaning. “Deteriorating in the Adoptions room” IS A DEATH SENTENCE IN SHELTER This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
A volunteer writes: Collecting his information the best way he knows how, Angel tucks himself into a soft little loaf and tries to piece it all together. I commend him for his efforts and recognize their value, even if, maybe especially if, they fall on the quieter side of the spectrum. In Angel's life before the shelter, he took his time warming up to new people but would lay gently once he did. He looks like a big teddy bear, but please don't let those fluffy cheeks fool you as getting used to shelter life hasn't been easy with all the new sights and sounds. Angel is FIV+ and has some medical needs that will require follow up, but he hopes someone will notice him and share a little chance his way. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

🆘🆘 ASH (ID 255208), 2 YO, MALE – IN MANHATTAN ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 5/22/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- hoarding situation. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
➡️TBD 7/27/26
➡️ TOO LOW ON PLEDGES TO STIMULATE RESCUE INTEREST
➡️🆘🆘 6TH CHANCE ON EMERGENCY PLACEMENT LIST – VERY RARE – SHELTER AT CAPACITY - COULD BE LAST CALL FOR ASH- VERY HIGH EU/SILENT KILL RISK– 🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱
➡️ 65 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ ASH IS ON THE EPL FOR BEHAVIORAL REASONS - He is not thriving in the care center and continues to display distance-increasing behavior when approached for interactions. He has not warmed up despite staff using treats to build a positive association. This designation often means that the cat will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption.🔥🔥🔥🔥
What my friends at ACC say about me: I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I'll need daily interaction with you as I get used to my new life. Ash tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents. A volunteer writes: "Ash loves to be loved," his former person told us, after they relinquished this gray and white boy into our care because they had too many pets in the house. Ash's previous owner also described him as friendly, affectionate, talkative, and a snuggly lap cat who sometimes prefers to watch his people from afar. Ash likes to play with water (hey, who doesn't?), rough rope for scratching is his weakness, and being brushed puts him in kitty bliss. At the Care Center he's been calm, curious, and on the shy side, leaning in for pettings and even allowing a quick pickup while displaying a sense of uncertainty. Ash is a very sweet, well behaved guy who needs an adopter who loves to give love and will make sure Ash receives lots of it. Meet this beauty at the Manhattan Care Center today!❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻
