Y'all! My little chapbook is out in the big ol' world looking for homes!
You can order it directly from the press here: https://t.co/2IefhyqLTF
There's also a limited # on Amazon (more coming!): https://t.co/G5og037ADJ
I'll share some poems from it here over the next few days!
It's a dream to have my first publication in 3 (!!!) years out today, surrounded by trans joy.
Thank you to @sg_poetry, @petitobjetb, and @ANMLY_LIT for making it a reality. The whole issue is truly stacked! Check it out here: https://t.co/C5kflDmRJK
2022 was a quiet (almost nonexistent) writing year for me. The highlight: seeing one of my poems in @BestNewPoets. (With thanks to @FrontierPoetry for giving this one its first home.)
This energy: “I woke with dawn in my mouth and it was spilling all over with birdsong, with flower, with the after moths of thunderstorm and dawn said I’m going to speak to you now, I’m going to rev you up to gaga mode and I said okay, use me…” https://t.co/H9GAyliNE2
This is such a special poem to me, and I’m so grateful to @BayouMag for giving it a home. It’s a different kind of poem for me: ode kicked into hyperdrive, pure gaga adoration, darkness shooed aside for just a moment. ✨🧑🚀✨
The poem that's been on @elizmuscari's mind:
I might be bending the rules slightly, as I read this a little bit ago, but I want to celebrate a poem by another Ozark poet that I actually read online in Muzzle: Brandon Thurman's poem, "Shed."

Here’s the poem, “New Moon Ceremony,” originally published in @FrontierPoetry, with so many thanks to the editors there for giving it its first home. 🌑 https://t.co/xOK68X7FAn
We've posted our fifty selections for Best New Poets 2022 at https://t.co/ABUo1hiMJG. Special thanks to guest editor Paula Bohince. Please join us in congratulating these wonderful poets!
Happy to have this old, resuscitated poem in the latest issue of @poetrynw alongside so many familiar faces. (Shoutout to @Dalai_Mama_ for helping me with the ending.)
